In the first half of the year, the industrial production index in St. Petersburg amounted to 108 percent

The industry of St. Petersburg is showing stable growth. In the first half of the year, the industrial production index was 108% compared to the same period last year.

Governor Alexander Beglov noted that good industrial performance is the result of measures taken by the city government to support the real sector of the economy. In addition, the positive dynamics are facilitated by the investments of enterprises in the modernization of production facilities. This was reported by the press service of Smolny.

In the first six months of this year, the St. Petersburg Industry Development Fund approved the issuance of 12 loans for a total amount of about 740 million rubles, 6 loans for over 260 million rubles have already been issued.

In the northern capital, the production of cars, computers, electronics, optics, medicines, medical supplies, machinery and equipment increased. The volume of products in the food industry also increased.
