At the Tver Exhibition Center - Dialogues with Glass

On August 21, Anton Marshumov, a member of the Tver branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, will present his decorative glass works at the Tver City Museum and Exhibition Center. Anton continues the work of his parents - honored artists of Russia Irina and Mikhail Marshumov, who stood at the origins of the Tver art glassmaking.

The exhibition "Dialogues with Glass" presents author's works from glass, souvenirs and stained-glass windows. All of Anton's works are individual and executed, as a rule, in one copy, elegant and unique.

The works of Anton Marshumov were presented at all-Russian and regional exhibitions of the Union of Artists of Russia, of which he has been a member since 2001. Many works are in private collections.

Having started work at the art and souvenir section of the Kalinin Glass Factory in 1986 as a glassblower apprentice, Anton Marshumov reached the highest level and became a master, having mastered all the subtleties of the glassblowing craft. Graduated from the Tver Art School named after V.I. Venetsianov and continued to work at the plant as an artist.

The exhibition will run in the lecture and exhibition hall (Sovetskaya St., 54) until September 13.
