XVI National Congress «Modernization of Russian Industry: Development Priorities»

From 5 to 6 October 2021, the Digital Leadership Center (Moscow, Kosmodamianskaya Naberezhnaya, 52/7) will host the XVI National Congress "Modernization of Russian Industry: Development Priorities". In 2021, the Congress is included in the plan of events for the Year of Science and Technology, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.

The event was organized by ANO Center for Business Support and Development Initiative and the Locomotives of Growth project with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The National Congress is an authoritative platform for open dialogue between entrepreneurs, government officials and the scientific community. The Congress is annually attended by representatives of: the Ministry of Economy of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, State Corporation Rostec, VEB.RF, Russian Railways, RosHydro, PJSC RusHydro, PJSC Rostelecom, etc. also small, medium and large businesses.

The key theme of the Congress is “Comprehensive modernization of industries”.

The main task is to facilitate business initiatives in the development, production and export of high-tech products.

One of the priority areas of the Congress this year will be the building materials industry. A separate strategic session "Transformation of the building materials industry in Russia: modern challenges and prospects for the development of the industry", which will be held on October 6, 2021, will be devoted to it.

Viktor Osipov, President of the StekloSouz Association of Russia was invited as an Expert on the development of the glass industry in the Congress and its strategic session "Transformation of the building materials industry in Russia: modern challenges and prospects for the development of the industry" to make proposals and draw up the final document of the Congress.
