In February 2025, 7 out of 11 sheet glass producers reduced their output compared to the same period last year. The industry-wide decline in production was almost 23 percent. According to market participants, rail shipments fell by a quarter, and by almost a third over 2 months. Overall, sheet glass consumption fell by more than 20 percent. Producer prices froze.

A project for an innovative glass recycling and processing plant in Kyzylorda was presented to the president at the Taza Kazakhstan exhibition, 24KZ reports.

On April 16, 2025, the XVII Infrastructure Summit "Strong Russia" (InfraSpace) was held in Moscow, in the hotel complex "President Hotel". It is a large-scale industry event that brought together representatives of the government, business and the expert community. The participants discussed key areas of spatial and infrastructural development of the country. The summit was held with the support and participation of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Russian Union of Builders, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
