The legendary Lytkarino Optical Glass Plant celebrates its 85th anniversary on Friday, September 20. In 1933, construction of Plant No. 233 began near the Moscow Region village of Lytkarino. At that time, it was called the Mirror Reflector Plant.

From September 10 to 12, 2024, the 25th anniversary exhibition on municipal, industrial, construction, agricultural waste management, recycling and ecology WasteTech was held in Moscow, at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center.

According to preliminary estimates, positive dynamics in glass shipments by rail to the Russian market (domestic supplies + imports) in the first ten days of September 2024 continued compared to the same period last year – plus 29.2 percent. The shipment volume amounted to 1.2 million sq. m.
