​On June 14, 2024, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia) held a scheduled meeting with the heads of specialized committees and departments of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR). Issues of implementation of decisions of meetings of heads of glass factories on May 15 and June 4, 2024 were discussed.

The shipment of glass by rail to the Russian market (domestic deliveries + imports) in the third decade of May 2024 continued to exhibit negative dynamics relative to the same period last year – minus 25.1%.

In the first ten days of June 2024, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR) held a scheduled meeting of the heads of glass container factories. The topic of the meeting: “Measures to optimize enterprise costs when changing EPR legislation.” The leaders of the SSR committees and glass factories made presentations.

On June 12, 2024, the United States expanded its sanctions list against Russia. Among other things, the United States introduced targeted restrictive measures against the Bor Glass Factory. State Department materials indicate that the company supplies armored glass for Russian armored production.

​Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about a member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, Siberian Glass LLC (“Sibsteklo”): On the sidelines of the XXVII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, LLC Siberian Glass (Sibsteklo, an asset of RATM Holding, one of the leading manufacturers of glass packaging in Russia, the largest recycler of glass waste beyond the Urals) reached agreements on the formation of algorithms for collecting cullet with the top officials of the regions of the Siberian Federal districts and heads of relevant structures.
