Dagestan has attracted more than 3.5 billion rubles in investment as part of the development of the glass industrial cluster

In the Republic of Dagestan, five projects worth a total of 9.4 billion rubles are being implemented as part of the "Glass Industry Development" program. As a result of their implementation, 987 jobs will be created.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development of Dagestan, 325 jobs have already been created in the first quarter of 2025, and 3.5 billion rubles have been attracted, of which 2.2 billion are private investments.

One of the projects is the production of glass balls for the manufacture of fiberglass. This is an import-substituting product, 75% of which is sold on the domestic market.

Work is also underway to launch the production of glass containers that meet European standards in the city of Dagestanskie Ogni. (OOO "Dagestan Glass Tara"). In April 2025, the technical launch of the enterprise was carried out.
