«Sibsteklo» won the corporate projects competition «It's about people»

Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about the member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, "Siberian Glass" LLC (Sibsteklo):

The project "Glass Cycle in the Plant", presented by LLC "Sibirskoe Steklo" at the XVII All-Russian competition of corporate projects in the field of ESG and social responsibility "It's about people: companies investing in the future", took first place in the new nomination "Sustainable Tourism".

OOO "Sibirskoe Steklo" ("Sibsteklo", an asset of RATM Holding) is one of the leading manufacturers of glass containers in the country, the largest recycler of glass waste in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts, has the official status of "Partner of National Projects of Russia".

The award was accepted by the Advisor on Sustainable Development Irina Baybarovich.

The "Sibsteklo" project scored the highest number of points following the in-person defense before the jury. Let us recall that the Novosibirsk enterprise competed in the Sustainable Tourism category with Gazprom Pererabotka LLC (second place), Metalloinvest Management Company LLC (third place), Segezha Group PJSC, Agenda Media Group and the Gorky Automobile Plant. In total, this year the competition brought together 85 companies that submitted 147 projects, 38 of which received awards.

“The name of the nomination reflects the essence of our project,” comments Anton Mor, CEO of Sibsteklo, thanking the expert community for their high marks. “As part of the excursions, we implement an educational mission - we emphasize the need to develop a culture of responsible consumption, separate waste and recycle used glass. The excursion format is one of the most effective: guests experience vivid emotions while watching the spectacular production process and, we hope, will consider themselves involved in it if they start sorting MSW. We motivate them to follow the principle of "start with yourself", which helps to achieve global goals.

The comprehensive project "It's about people" (formerly People Investor), organized by the Interregional public organization "Association of Managers" unites the competition of the same name, which is held in 11 nominations, as well as a forum where they discuss the directions for implementing a responsible approach to business.
