Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about the member of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, OOO Sibirskoye Steklo (Sibsteklo):
The project "Glass Cycle in the Plant" presented by OOO Sibirskoye Steklo (Sibsteklo, one of the leading glass container manufacturers in Russia, an asset of RATM Holding) in the new nomination "Sustainable Tourism" was included in the shortlist of the XVII All-Russian competition of corporate projects in the field of ESG and social responsibility "It's about people: companies investing in the future".
This year, the competition brought together 85 companies that submitted 147 projects, 54 of which reached the final based on the results of online voting by jury members - leading industry experts. The best cases will be determined based on the results of the defense.
Sibstekkl's competitors in the Large Business category will be OOO UK Metalloinvest, OOO Gazprom Pererabotka, PAO Segezha Group, Agenda Media Group and the Gorky Automobile Plant.
Developing industrial tourism, the plant is implementing an excursion and educational project aimed at forming a culture of handling MSW, in particular, popularizing their sorting at the household level, which will contribute to the growth of glass waste recycling volumes:
“Thus, we strive to expand our influence on the life cycle of glass packaging within the stages of its use and subsequent collection for return to economic circulation,” comments Anton Mor, CEO of Sibstekkl. “This ensures a reduction in the industrial impact on the environment and the sustainability of business processes. Participation in the competition allows you to receive a professional assessment of the results of completing specialized tasks, the quality of the proposed solutions and the potential of the enterprise to achieve global goals.
The comprehensive project “It’s about people” (formerly People Investor), organized by the Interregional public organization “Association of Managers”, unites the competition of the same name, which is held in 11 nominations, as well as a forum where they discuss directions for implementing a responsible approach to business.
