The participants of the State Council meeting considered a number of important proposals aimed at developing the solid municipal waste disposal industry and increasing the efficiency of resource conservation. One of the key initiatives is the proposal to amend Federal Law No. 89-FZ "On Production and Consumption Waste". The amendments should provide for the introduction of regulation of RDF fuel production - a modern type of fuel produced from waste. The meeting was held on June 30 under the chairmanship of Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor Gleb Nikitin.
