In October, production and consumption increased by only 0.2% year-on-year, but in January-October, production declined by 7.5% and consumption by 11.8%. These figures reflect the instability of the industry and highlight the need for a careful analysis of future trends.
In October 2025, production indicators for key product lines in the container glass market continued to diverge. Glass bottle and jar production continued to grow amid stable demand from the food industry. Meanwhile, the glassware and block glass segments remained in decline, responding to weak consumer and construction demand. Rising production costs amid ongoing logistical constraints were a common constraint for all segments.
