The July 2026 issue of the Glass and Ceramics journal has been published

Viktor Ivanovich Osipov, President of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, is a member of the editorial board of the "Glass and Ceramics" journal.

We are pleased to announce the publication of issue 7 of the 2026 edition of the monthly scientific and technical journal "Glass and Ceramics."

— ALUMINUM BOROSILICATE GLASS FOR VITRIFICATION OF PERLITE-CONTAINING MATERIALS

The use of aluminoborosilicate glass of the selected base composition for the formation of perlite-containing glass-containing materials was tested. The influence of the proportion of perlite filter powder in the initial mixture on the composition, structural features, and individual physical properties of the synthesized materials was studied. A conclusion has been made regarding the conditions for the implementation of the process of vitrification in a melt based on aluminosilicate glass of the selected composition of perlite-containing radioactive pulps obtained by filtering radioactive solutions in industrial installations.
