Meeting of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation on the Development of E-Commerce

With the rapid development of e-commerce and the digitalization of commodity markets, the integration of government information systems is becoming increasingly important. Today, each industry and agency develops its own solutions with different interfaces, APIs, and standards, leading to data duplication, fragmentation, and increased administrative costs. Consolidation of such systems is becoming a necessary step to improve the effectiveness of government oversight and reduce the burden on businesses.

To discuss this topic, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation will hold a meeting of the Council for the Development of E-Commerce on October 22, 2025, at 3:00 PM (Moscow time). The meeting will focus on the topic: "EGIS in E-Commerce: From Multiple Systems to a Single Window."

Victor Osipov, President of the Association StekloSouz of Russia, will represent the interests of the glass industry at the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the prospects for transitioning from a fragmented model of departmental information systems to a unified digital product passport structure, which will reduce costs for businesses and the government, ensure the sustainability and scalability of the infrastructure, and improve transparency and control efficiency.
