More than $ 640 million will be spent on job creation in Kyzylorda region

In the Kyryzorda region, a plan for the economic development of the region until 2023 was prepared, within the framework of which 265 projects were proposed for a total amount of over 270 billion tenge ($ 642.8 million), which would create more than 4,600 permanent jobs.

Already this year, 110 projects have been launched for the amount of 26 billion tenge. As a result, 2,051 jobs will be created. To date, 63 projects have already been implemented and 548 jobs have been created.

In order to improve the socio-economic indicators of the region, 16 new projects will be implemented. To date, negotiations are underway on 3 projects on the basis of a glass factory for the amount of 16 billion tenge. Fiberglass, mirrors and other glass products will be produced there.

“The regional company“ Dana Quartz ”has been identified, which is interested in the implementation of a project for the production of mirrors in the industrial zone of our city. Also, in joint cooperation with Russian investors, it is planned to implement a project for the production of medicines in the amount of 1.6 billion tenge ($ 3.8 million). In addition, the issue is being considered with Chinese investors to create a joint venture for the production of cellulose from rice straw for 10 billion tenge ($ 23.8 million), "said Almagul Nurasylova, deputy head of the regional department of economic and budget planning.

The head of the region, Gulshara Abdykalikova, noted that today a business for the processing of meat, milk and cattle wool has been established in the region.

“I also want to say that we have 25 644 large families. We try to involve them in business too. Under the "Enbek" program, 602 mothers with many children were given grants for the implementation of business ideas, ”the regional akim said at a briefing at the Central Communications Service.

The idea of the plan is to ensure food self-sufficiency and self-sufficiency of the region with essential goods, as well as create new jobs through the effective use of the resource potential of the region.
