Bor glass plant invests 3.3 billion rubles in modernization of production

OJSC AGC Bor Glass Factory (BSZ) will invest 3.3 billion rubles. in the reconstruction of a line for the production of polished glass. According to the regional government, it is planned to assign the priority status to the investment project. This decision was approved by the Presidium of the Council for Development Strategy and Investment under the Governor on August 10.

“The new status will allow the company to receive state support in the form of property tax benefits and income tax benefits. It is planned that tax preferences will be valid until June 30, 2026, ”said Yegor Polyakov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The line is planned to produce 93.7 thousand tons of colorless glass and 54.9 thousand tons of glass colored in bulk per year. It is assumed that the products will be used as raw materials for the manufacture of automotive glass supplied to the conveyors of Russian car factories, including localized production of international brands.

The regional government is preparing an investment agreement with an investor, which is planned to be approved at a meeting of the regional legislative assembly.
