Export of glass from Iran is 300 million dollars a year

According to the secretary of the Iranian Glass Industry Association, various types of glass worth more than $300 million are exported from Iran every year.

“Glass production, including sheet glass, structural glass, crystal glass, bottles, packaging glass and automotive glass, is expected to reach 2.85 million to 3 million tons this year,” Zoyaji was quoted as saying by IRIB News.

“The glass industry is one of the few industries [in Iran] that is doing well these days. We have access to inexpensive energy and plenty of raw materials. Every year we open new firms and business is booming,” Zoyaji said.
