To support the growing demand for laminated glass in Russia and the CIS, Guardian Glass is launching a new line for the production of large laminated glass at its Russian plant in Ryazan. By investing in this project, the company aims to support the sustained growth seen in the region in the commercial and residential sectors, thereby increasing the need for a product that improves the safety and sound insulation of glass.
As one of the world's largest manufacturers of flat glass, spray glass and finished glass products, Guardian, with 26 float glass production lines worldwide, is taking another step towards strengthening its leadership position in the laminated glass market in the long term. This initiative will allow Guardian Glass Russia to diversify the range of products supplied to the region by adding SunGuard® and ClimaGuard® laminated glass, which can be used in various applications.
