Response from «Russian Ecological Operator» on the issue of recognition of glass factories as recyclers

As part of the implementation of the decision of the heads of glass container factories dated January 16, 2024, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia continues to work with the Government of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries and departments on the application of extended producer responsibility (EPR) for glass factories.

Including the organization of separate collection of glass waste, recognition of glass factories as recyclers, tariffs, standards, VAT and other areas necessary for the development of the production of secondary raw materials.

Currently, a response has been received from PPK Russian Ecological Operator (PPK REO) (letter No. 1430/24 dated 02/27/2024) with comments on the issue of recognizing glass factories as recyclers.
