Freight One develops cooperation with quartz sand producers in the Volga region

The First Freight Company (Freight One) has started regular shipments of products from large producers of quartz sand in the Ulyanovsk region - the Lukyanovsk and Tashlinsky ore mining and processing plants. In January-August, the operator's wagons delivered 20.8 thousand tons and 11.9 thousand tons of products of enterprises, respectively.

“Earlier this year, we have already made trial shipments of products from the Lukyanovsky and Tashlinsky GOKs. The partners highly appreciated our level of service, and the joint work moved on a regular basis. Quartz sand is in demand in many industries, for example, in the production of glass and all types of dry building mixtures. Freight One is working on expanding the geography of transportation, organizing timely and high-quality shipment to shippers, and monitoring the movement of goods around the clock. We look forward to further development of cooperation with partners, ”said Alexey Korenko, director of the Samara branch of Freight One.

At the end of 8 months of 2020, Freight One increased the volume of loading of industrial raw materials and molding materials by almost 12 times compared to the same period last year, to 58 thousand tons. Freight turnover in this segment increased by 7 times, to 53 million t-km.

Cargoes were transported mainly across Russia to the address of consignees at the landfills of the Kuibyshev and Gorky railways.
