The products of the Guardian Glass Rostov plant were sent to museums

The innovative sheet glass of the Guardian Glass Rostov plant is successfully used in the construction and reconstruction of museum complexes and cultural heritage monuments. In 2020, the Guardian Glass Rostov plant supplied architectural glazing for the translucent roof of the Moscow Polytechnic Museum. This is a particularly valuable object of Russian cultural heritage, the reconstruction of which is a large-scale state project.

According to the "Agency for Investment Development of the Rostov Region", which has localized and accompanies the project of the American corporation "Guardian" in the Don region, at present the plant in the Krasnosulinsky District produces more than 15 types of spray glass. Including colored multifunctional glass for residential buildings and highly selective architectural glass.

“The products of Guardian Glass Rostov are supplied to various regions of Russia, to Ukraine and Turkey, and are widely used in industrial and civil construction,” says Igor Burakov, CEO of the Investment Development Agency of the Rostov Region. - Energy-saving sheet glass produced at the Guardian Glass Rostov plant was used, among other things, in the construction of the Sambek Heights national military-historical museum complex, the historical park “Russia is my history” in Rostov-on-Don ”.

The glass sent by Guardian Glass Rostov to the Polytechnic Museum is double-coated with silver and several layers of other metals with a total thickness less than a human hair. Thanks to this coating, the glass acquires special properties, including energy-saving ones. The translucent roof is a new element in the architecture of the Polytechnic Museum. Domestic specialists have been creating the most complex roof structure for about two years. Deliveries of innovative glass became the contribution of the Rostov region to the reconstruction project of the Moscow Polytechnic Museum - one of the largest scientific and technical museums in the world.

The Guardian Glass Rostov plant with a production capacity of 900 tons of glass per day is the world's largest enterprise of the American corporation Guardian Industries, one of the flagship projects of the “governor's hundred” of priority investment projects in the Rostov region, the largest foreign resident of the Krasnosulinsky industrial park.
