The conference, organized by the information and analytical publication Infopro54, was supported by the Association "National Network of the Global Compact", the project office "Strategies and Practices for Sustainable Development", the Russian Ecological Society, the Public Chamber of the Novosibirsk Region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Novosibirsk Region, the Interregional Association of Enterprise Managers , Novosibirsk regional branch of the all-Russian public organization of small and medium-sized businesses "Support of Russia", etc.

One of the main niches of sustainable development is waste management. Siberian Glass LLC (an asset of RATM Holding) is one of the key players in the glass container market in Russia and is the largest glass waste recycler in Siberia.

“The principles of rational consumption of energy and raw materials are built into the company's business model,” said Anton Mor, General Director of Sibsteklo LLC in his speech. - For us, this does not imply any supernova product and technological solutions. The environmental and economic agendas at the enterprise have always been interconnected.

According to the CEO, the achievement of competitive advantages that strengthen the market position of Sibstekl is, among other things, the result of the implementation of environmental initiatives that reduce the negative impact on the environment. Work in this direction can be represented on the graph of inverse correlation: when an increase in one indicator, in this case the amount of recycled cullet, the melting point of which is lower than that of natural components, should cause a decrease in others. For example, the volume of disposal of useful waste fractions at MSW landfills, as well as the use of energy resources, as a result, CO2 emissions.

“Thus, most of our projects that help improve the environmental situation are not separated from the main business - the production of glass containers, but, on the contrary, are integrated into it,” emphasized Anton Mor.
