Meeting of federal industry associations in the SSR. Discussion of common problematic issues and plan for further cooperation

On January 30, 2024, a meeting of the NP “National Partnership of Associations and Unions of Construction Materials Industry Enterprises” was held at the Association "StekloSouz" f Russia, chaired by the president of these associations, Viktor Osipov.

The following leaders took part in the meeting:

✔ Association "StekloSouz" of Russia (SSR),

✔ Russian Gypsum Association (RGA),

✔ Association of Ceramic Materials Manufacturers (APKM),

✔Association of Manufacturers of Ceramic Wall Materials (APKSM),

✔ National Association of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Manufacturers (NAAG),

✔ Association of Silicate Products Manufacturers (APSI),

✔ leading scientific and technical journal PSM “Building Materials”.

Colleagues spoke about the situation in the sub-industry, discussed common problems and plans for further cooperation in the interests of the entire industry.

One of the main common problems at present is the almost complete impossibility of updating production assets with European equipment. Many questions arise regarding the equipment of Chinese manufacturers trying to occupy the vacated market.

Machine-building enterprises in Russia are scattered, and the traditions of production engineering are practically lost. Restoring the mechanical engineering potential for PSM is one of the main objectives of the Partnership.

The issue of training specialists of all technical specialties for industrial enterprises is acute.

For enterprises in the glass and ceramics industries, high costs and organizational difficulties are caused by the classification of these industries into the 1st category of the NVOS.

The lack of coordination of actions, and sometimes confrontation between TC 144 and TC 465, does not make life easier for production workers. The work of a significant part of the superstructural structures that declare to “protect” the industry often comes down to holding endless meetings, conferences and unnecessary rule-making initiatives.

During the meeting, joint actions in specific areas were outlined.
