The construction of a glass factory in Blagoveshchensk is planned to begin in 2022

In the second half of 2022, Home Master Glass plans to start construction of a unique plant for the production of high-strength glass and architectural double-glazed windows in Blagoveshchensk. The work will be completed by 2026. The future enterprise was included in the regional list of priority investment projects.

— The growth in the cost of building materials is currently one of the key problems in the construction of objects of various sizes in the region. The creation of a new plant for the production of tempered and fire-resistant glass will be a good help for the development of the construction industry in the Amur region. First of all, this will speed up the delivery of glass products to key construction sites. We also look forward to reducing the cost of production. In addition, the investor will open more than 50 new jobs and become another taxpayer in the region. After the launch of production within 10 years, the plant will bring almost 300 million rubles to the regional budget. The project has no analogues in the Far East, and we are ready to provide it with comprehensive support,” said Governor Vasily Orlov at a meeting of the commission on priority investment projects and improving the investment climate.

According to Oleg Basmanov, General Director of Home Master Glass LLC, the plant will be able to produce tempered and fire-resistant glass, mirrors and glass insulating products. The plant's products can be used in the manufacture of skylights, shop windows, billboards, building envelopes and other interior solutions. It is also suitable for glazing high-rise buildings, attics, sloping facades, bus stops and kiosks.

Home Master Glass will invest 400 million rubles in the construction. The status of a priority investment project gives the investor the right to state support.

“From this year, investors of priority projects can apply for compensation of part of construction costs or other costs associated with production, for example, for the purchase of new equipment, the cost of connecting facilities to electricity and utility networks, and others,” commented the Minister of Economic Development and Foreign Relations Oksana Kuksheneva.

The Commission for Investment Projects also discussed the results of the projects of two gold deposits in the Selemdzha region. More than 35 billion rubles were involved in the development of the Albynsky and Malomyrsky mines, more than 2.7 thousand new jobs were created.

Also at the meeting, changes in the main parameters of the investment project for the modernization and reconstruction of the Blagoveshchensk Building Materials Plant were considered.

The investor intends to double the funding for the purchase of modern equipment to replace obsolete equipment. Thanks to this, the volume of production of silicate bricks for the construction needs of the region will increase, and 25 additional jobs will appear at the plant.

Priority for the economy of the Amur region are projects in the areas of transport logistics, tourism, agriculture, mining, housing construction, timber processing, the production of building materials and medicines, as well as the oil and gas chemical industry. At the same time, the volume of investments should exceed 150 million rubles. Now there are 24 projects on the list, the press service of the Amur Ministry of Economic Development reports.
