Sodium sulfate for the glass industry

In 2020, JSC "Institute of Glass" (Moscow) developed technical specifications (TU 20.13.41-091-04882451-2020 dated 1.07.2020) for sodium sulfate produced by Midural Group for the glass industry.

• Appearance - white powder;

• Chemical composition in masses. %:

1. Mass fraction of sodium sulfate (Na2SO4),% not less than 99.8;

2. Mass fraction of substances insoluble in water,% no more than 0.1;

3. Mass fraction of chlorides in terms of NaCl,% no more than 0.1;

4. Mass fraction of iron in terms of Fe2O3 no more than 0.001;

5. Mass fraction of moisture,% no more than 0.1.

The production technology and the system of multilevel quality control ensure both a high degree of sodium sulfate purity and a uniform fractional composition, stable bulk density, flowability and product whiteness. The high-tech packaging used ensures the safety of the product during storage and transportation.

Sodium sulfate is packed in soft disposable containers MKR-1 with a polyethylene insert weighing 1000 kg., Paper bags with a polyethylene insert weighing 50 kg and polyethylene bags weighing 50 kg.

The annual production output is about 40,000 tons.

Sodium sulfate produced by the joint-stock company "MC" RosSpetsSplav-Group MidUral "is in wide demand on the international and domestic markets.
