SO DIFFERENT LED LAMPS! HOW TO CHOOSE THE MOST SAFE AND EFFECTIVE?

Despite the fact that LED lamps have already firmly entered our life with you, disputes still arise about their harm both to health and to the environment.

Why are LED lamps dangerous?

This is due to the fact that these bulbs can have a detrimental effect on the eyes and on human development in general. The negative impact depends on many factors at once. So, if the technology was violated during the production of LEDs (or the old production technology was used), then there will be a high probability that UV radiation will harm your eyes. In addition, most cheap plastic lamps may have increased ripple, which is also associated with the use of low-quality components. If the manufacturer decided to save as much as possible in production and use a bad driver, then the output will be a ripple factor of more than 10%. Such pulsation is not perceived by the human eye, but at the same time it has a significant negative effect on human health - primarily on the organs of vision and the central nervous system. Flickering light overloads the human visual and nervous system, disrupts natural biorhythms. Typical symptoms of exposure to pulsating light flux are fatigue, dryness and pain in the eyes, headaches, irritability. Long-term exposure to pulsation of light can lead to chronic diseases.

In fig. 1, 2 recorded the flickering of lamps invisible to the human eye.

Also very important is such a parameter as the lamp color rendering index (CRI) - it shows how natural the surrounding colors look in the light of the lamp. For the sun, this indicator is 100Ra, respectively, the lower the color rendering level, the less naturally the colors of objects are transferred to the human eye. For low-quality lamps, this indicator can be quite low: from 50 to 75 Ra - this can be dangerous for children who, from birth, spend a lot of time in rooms where artificial lighting is used. At an early age, all the foundations of human life are being formed, and if a child from birth observes his environment in distorted colors, then his very perception of the "truth" of colors will be distorted. For example, if a mother constantly shows the child the red color of objects in a room with a low color rendering, then the child will remember the red color exactly as it is transmitted to him under this lighting. Being already in a natural environment, for example, on the street, red for him may already be completely different colors. shades).

Figure 3 shows the difference in the visible color of objects under different lighting conditions.

Another important indicator is the angle of light emission. For ordinary plastic bulbs, it is from 120 to 270 degrees. Such lamps illuminate the space below them, creating dark areas in places far from the lamp, which leads to less efficient lighting of the room. Such uneven illumination can also lead to a distorted perception of a person of the space in which he is.

Figure 4 shows the radiation angle diagram

The correct use of these lamps also affects human health. For example, in different territorial regions, consumers give preference to one or another color temperature of lamps. So, it was noticed that in regions where there is less sunlight, lamps of warmer shades are used more there, and vice versa, in more sunny and hot ones, lamps of cold shades are used. Also, lamps of cold shades are preferred by countries with poorer populations, starting from the fact that such lamps are brighter - this is partly true, at the same power, the luminous flux of a cold lamp will be higher than that of a warm one. But, unfortunately, such a choice will not lead to significant savings, but it can harm health. For example, white lamps are good to use when working or reading, when maximum concentration is needed, but it is strongly not recommended to use them before bedtime - this can lead to sleep disturbance due to the suppression of the hormone melatonin, which is a regulator of the circadian rhythm of all living organisms and affects the body's biological clock, preparing our body for rest (sleep). The fact is that the color temperature of a light bulb reflects different states of the sun: warm colors are sunrise or sunset, colder ones are the sun at noon or in cloudy weather, so everything has its own time and place. When the sun sets over the horizon, it has a warm color and this is a signal that it is time to sleep, so it is better to use warm light bulbs before going to bed.

This is about the direct impact of poor-quality light or misuse on humans, but LED lamps can also be harmful to our planet. Today, more than ever, the topic of ecology and the safety of our ecosystem from harmful substances is relevant. Everyone already knows about the dangers of plastic for the environment. At the moment, LED lamps in a plastic case are the most common light source - more than 100 million of these lamps are recycled annually, and this is only official data! Therefore, the choice of LED lamps must be taken as responsibly as possible.

But not all LED lamps are dangerous for humanity and its environment.

Safe LED lamps.

In the process of evolution of production technologies, filamentous LED lamps have become the most "useful" light source. The LED filament, the main functional element of such a lamp, is a specially designed LED strip. New generation LED filament lamps in a glass bulb are basically devoid of the above disadvantages. They can be disposed of together with household waste without worrying about the composition of the materials. Thanks to its design, which the lamp adopted from its "great-grandfather" incandescent lamp, the angle of light emission is also 330 degrees - today this is the most spherical lamp design. In Russia, such lamps are produced by the oldest electric lamp plant in Russia in Tomsk and the only plant in the CIS that has the technology for the production of LED filaments themselves, which allows you to control all stages of lamp production and guarantee their quality. The pulsation coefficient of Tomsk bulbs is less than one percent and practically tends to zero. Also, Tomsk bulbs have a high level of color rendering index (more than 85 Ra).

Today "LAMP TOMICHA" is an excellent product at affordable prices. Lamps are designed specifically for a healthy lifestyle and therefore are completely environmentally friendly and safe.

How to choose the most useful and safe LED lamp?

When choosing a “usable” lamp, it is recommended to follow the three-step instructions:

STEP1 - health

As already described above, the benefit or harm of a lamp directly depends on the quality of its characteristics. When buying a lamp, you need to pay attention to:

- the ripple coefficient (the less, the better) should be less than 10%. This indicator can be checked by pointing the camera of the phone at the lighted lamp, if you see flickering on the screen, this is definitely not your lamp.

- color rendering index CRI must be at least 80 Ra.

- angle of light scattering (the higher the better). The best indicator now is 330 degrees.

- Colorful temperature -. This parameter is measured in Kelvin (K). When choosing a color temperature, pay special attention to where the lamp will be used: warmer shades (up to 4000K) help a person find peace and comfort, create an atmosphere of relaxation. On the contrary, lamps of colder shades have an invigorating effect, help to concentrate, activate the brain, increase productivity (it is not recommended to use it two hours before bedtime). By the way, not everyone knows, but the very temperature of the glow in the filamentous lamp can be easily determined by the shade of the phosphor, without even screwing the lamp into the holder of the chandelier.

lemon shade of threads - from 4000K (neutral white light)

rich yellow color - 3000K (warm white)

rich orange - (even warmer).

To increase the comfort of living and improve working conditions, a team of scientists from the LEADlight Group - Tomsk Electric Lamp Plant, together with interior designers, have created a special range of "Tomich's Bulb", ideal for home.

STEP 2 - ecology

Choose lamps in a glass envelope. In this way, you will do your part to protect our planet from harmful substances. After all, light bulbs, no matter how long-playing, are still a product with their own service life, after which, in most cases, they will simply be thrown into the trash can.

STEP 3 - saving

One of the most demanded and indisputable advantage of an LED lamp is its economy in energy consumption. It should be borne in mind that in LED lamps the luminous flux does not directly depend on the power (W) as in incandescent lamps. To achieve more light, but at the same time consume less electricity, you should pay attention to the light output (Lm / W). The higher it is, the better! In conventional LED lamps, this figure ranges from 60 to 100 lm / W. You can calculate it simply by dividing the luminous flux by the power consumption (this data should be indicated on the lamp packaging). Tomich's bulbs from LEADlight have an ultra-high light output - from 120 to 180 lm / W, which leads to extra savings! If we compare an ordinary LED lamp with a TOMICH lamp, the TOMICH LAMP will be at least 1.5 times more effective. And since the price of one kilowatt is constantly growing, saving becomes an extremely important aspect. The operating time of high-quality LEDs of the TOMICH BULB is 25,000 hours.
