Türkiye has taken anti-dumping measures against glass imports from Russia

The decision to apply anti-dumping measures against the import of clear flat glass from Russia was made by the Turkish Ministry of Trade.

It is noted that the department’s order came into force after its publication in the Official Gazette of Turkey. Thus, the ministry intends to fight unfair competition in the field of imports.

The General Directorate of Imports carried out a review investigation launched into imports of sodium percarbonates from Germany and Sweden and clear flat glass from Russia, defined as “other goods”.

The investigation found that if the existing measure were to be removed, dumping would likely continue and harm would continue to occur.

Clear flat glass produced in Russia will be subject to final anti-dumping measures at rates of 8-10% of the CIF value depending on the type.
