Private investment in the development of the industrial complex of the Krasnodar Territory increased by 2.6 times

The governor of the Krasnodar Territory told reporters about the growth in funds raised by industrial enterprises for modernization.

– In 2023, industrial enterprises attracted more than 46 billion rubles to create, expand or modernize production facilities. Investments increased 2.6 times compared to 2022. This suggests that existing and new investors appreciated the opportunities and comfortable conditions that have been created for the development of industrial companies. Last year, with the support of the region, nine new production facilities were launched. The developed own mechanisms for stimulating industries prompted six large enterprises from historically industrial regions of the country to re-register in Kuban, said Veniamin Kondratyev.

The head of the region noted that more than 70% of the total investment in industry falls on the flagship industries of the region - chemical and pharmaceutical. The growth was achieved by the enterprises of the chemical industry cluster emerging in the Temryuk region, as well as the launch of the production of mineral NPS fertilizers with elemental sulfur in Belorechensky. In addition, investments in the pharmaceutical industry have increased. This is due to the work of the support system, the creation of new lines of generic drugs, and the implementation of a project to expand the enterprise in the Crimean region by 70%.

– One of the leading areas for attracting investment has become the production of building materials. The volume of invested funds amounted to 3.2 billion rubles - 22 percent more than a year earlier. Over the past year, investments in the development of brick and cement production doubled, and gypsum quadrupled. The modernization of capacities and the construction of new plants are being carried out in the Novorossiysk, Kurganinsky, Otradnensky and Mostovsky districts, added Veniamin Kondratyev.

The radio-electronics industry also showed an increase in investment, thanks to a project being implemented with the support of the region to increase the production of IP video cameras and create a component base in Krasnodar. In addition, the volume of investment in the production of clothing, leather and leather products has increased due to the expansion of enterprises in the Belorechensky and Kushchevsky districts, and the modernization of factories in Krasnodar and the Slavyansky district.

To date, 31 investment projects totaling more than 108 billion rubles are being implemented or planned for implementation in the industrial sector. These include, among other things, such large productions as a foundry and pressing plant and a plant for the production of glassware and glass products in Armavir, a plant for the production of alkaline batteries in the Crimean region, and the expansion of a machine tool manufacturing enterprise in Krasnodar. Also - the creation of industrial parks and industrial technology parks in the regional capital, Anapa, Sochi, Apsheronsky, Crimean and other areas, reports the press service of the Krasnodar Territory administration.
