Import-substituting and export plants will appear in the Amurskaya ASEZ by 2026

In the Amur Region, soybean processing plants and the production of modern translucent structures will be built in the priority development area.

The emergence of new enterprises in the Amurskaya TOP is planned for 2026. The activities of one of them will be aimed at import substitution, the other - at the export of products. This was announced on May 26 by the press service of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. Relevant investment agreements were concluded on the sidelines of the Russian-Chinese Economic Forum AmurExpo-2023.

The glass factory will produce more than 231 thousand square meters. m of tempered, fire-resistant and laminated glass. The most anticipated product is double-glazed windows, which are designed to meet the high domestic demand during a dynamic housing construction in the Far East. Double-glazed windows from the Amurskaya TOP will be lower at cost than the existing ones, which will simultaneously positively affect the price of square meters in new buildings. Over 348 million rubles will be invested in the project, and about 60 jobs will be created.

The soybean processing plant with a capacity of about 85 thousand tons per year has an export direction. The volume of investments in the implementation of this project will amount to 208 million rubles. Soy grown by Amur farmers is environmentally friendly and does not contain GMOs, which is why it is in high demand on the Asian market. The plant will be located on an industrial site ideal for export in the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe zone.
