Industrial tourism will be developed in the Vladimir region. This decision was made in the "White House", and a list of 14 companies representing jewelry and glass production, light industry, high technology, and production of products for children has already been compiled.

According to First Vice Governor Alexander Remiga, various travel formats in Russia are actively developing. And industrial tourism is one niche that can also be in demand:

“The development of industrial tourism will help to increase the investment attractiveness of the region, competitiveness and promotion of local brands and regional goods, create an effective career guidance system for schoolchildren and students, and attract a tourist flow to us. The majority of industrial tourists may be young people. Thus, we will be able not only to develop tourism, but also to popularize work at enterprises in the region. "

One of those who are already practicing this approach is a jewelry factory in Pokrov. The company conducts excursions for everyone: schoolchildren, students, Russian and foreign tourists. As noted at the plant, the new type of services is in great demand. In the competition "Exporter of the Year of the Vladimir Region-2019" the enterprise took the II place in the nomination "Service Industry".

The Department of Economic Development invites companies from the Vladimir region to participate in the development of industrial tourism. Methodological recommendations for the development of industrial travel in the regions were developed with the participation of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
